Let’s face it, New England got off fairly easily in the winter of 2018/2019. Not much snow, and the blustering cold and wind didn’t last too long. I should bite my tongue, we’ve all seen an ugly storm or two storm in April.

This year, I’m being optimistic and optimism deserves a good old fashioned cheers! Now, an old fashioned would actually do just fine, but I had something else in mind!

How about a strawberry and thyme margarita? Let’s get our taste buds ready for what our gardens will have in just a few months.

As always with a margarita, fresh ingredients are the best! I made a thyme simple syrup, pureed organic strawberries, and used one of my favorite tequilas – Codigo 1530 Rosa Tequila.

Trust me, this is a margarita recipe you’ll want to keep handy all summer long!
