Let’s admit it, we all love a little eye candy every now and then. And nothing adds to the “WOW” factor like the before and after pictures from a make-over.
Okay, so this eye candy might not be a beefcake or pinup, but it does have some major curves; namely in the shape of one gorgeous spiral staircase. We’re talking about the major renovation project that took place on Mount Vernon Street in Beacon Hill.
Thanks to Boston Real Estate Agent extraordinaire, Allison Mazer, of Gibson Sotheby’s, and developer BSA Management, Inc., this historic building got a major facelift. The team divided the glorious building into four units and brought the old girl into the new millennium with a stunning new look. But, the best part is that they highlighted the striking features that made her a quintessential Bostonian. And really, isn’t that the key to any good makeover- bringing out the best features and making them shine!
The units listed between $2.55 and $4.695 (million that is) and were quickly scooped up by eager buyers. This was one makeover that really paid off. Most importantly, the project brought a gorgeous building back to life that will now soon be filled with love and new memories! Kudos to Allison and BSA Management!
This summer we received a tour of what was then a construction site. So, when we saw the gorgeous completion pictures, we thought it would be fun to show the before and after shots. Enjoy!
This elegant spiral staircase was a major focal point of the building’s original architecture.
As you can see, the winding stairs and graceful landing were definitely a feature worth keeping!
We had a little bit of fun just kidding around in one of the building’s multiple outdoor spaces.
Outdoor space is pretty hard to find in Boston. That is why the effort that went into maintaining a piece of the outdoors in this project was impressive. The new owners will definitely enjoy the generous amount of square footage allotted to fresh air!
We were pretty taken with the views from this copper balcony. We think this was worth the price of admission alone. 🙂
As you can see, it’s still one of the eye-catching features. Check out our favorite spiral staircase that leads into the room.
As you can tell, a lot of work went into the renovation at Mount Vernon Street! Thank you to Allison Mazer for taking us on a tour and sharing the final results! What a spectacular project! Enjoy the rest of this real estate eye candy!
