This spring we’re stepping into something a little different – designer sneakers! Pimp daddy sneakers are everywhere this spring, making us seriously consider reallocating the money we’ve been socking away for fancy wedges and espadrilles to designer kicks. Why not? These days some leggings cost more than jeans! Let’s take loungewear to an entirely new level!

If spending upward of $700.00 isn’t your thing (and we can’t say we blame you) looking is still fun! Remember, sometimes nothing is cooler than a pair of Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars for just $50.00.

Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Core White Ox Sneakers $50.00

If you can scrounge up the spare change from under the couch cushions, maybe along with a little snack of Cheerios, or if you just want to daydream, here is our designer sneaker edit!

Designer Sneakers

JIMMY CHOO

JIMMY CHOO Leather sneakers $ 595

These Jimmy Choo’s are simple and clean. The gold detailing takes these shoes from running errands to a nice luncheon with the ladies. We’d love to see them with capri jeans and a crisp white button-down with the sleeves rolled up and the collar turned. Super cute!

FENDI

FENDI Pearland Slip-On Sneaker $700.00

Leave it to luxury brand Fendi to deck out their spring sneakers with pearls. How cute would these look with sleek black leggings and an asymmetrical grey or burgundy sweatshirt? Hello hot personal trainer, what’s your name?  Just don’t let him know your sneakers cost $700.00. He might increase his hourly rate. 😉

Golden Goose

GOLDEN GOOSE SNEAKERS SUPERSTAR WHITE-GREY BLUE STAR $500.00

Are you a hipster, or do you at least want to look like one? Golden Goose sneakers are sort of the golden eggs in the pimp daddy sneaker game. Made to look aged, but with sparkly details, these are both tomboy and girly cool!

 Stella McCartney

ADIDAS X STELLA MCCARTNEY, Ultra Boost Uncaged Fabric Sneakers, $230

Stella McCartney helped to crank fitness wear into high gear with her partnership with Adidas. These kicks are a perfect example of form and function. At $230.00, they are almost affordable.

Louis Vuitton

LOUIS VUITTON, AFTERGAME SNEAKER, $765.00

We can’t talk about designer sneakers without bringing Louis into the game, Louis Vuitton that is. With a discreet logo print and elegant gold detail, you’ll definitely want to keep these “Aftergame” sneakers off the court. Especially considering the price tag of $765.00!

Aquazzura

Aquazzura Sun Ray Embellished Leather Sneaker $750.00

Aquazzura provides a ray of light with these gold embellished sneakers. If the Greek gods were to head to Neiman’s, they would probably snag a pair of these.  Especially, if they’ve consumed a bit too much ambrosia.

GUCCI

Gucci’s sneaker game has been on fire for the past few years. This year they are putting serious bling on all the kicks. These red, white, and blue babies go for almost a grand. But, then you can actually say you have diamonds on the soles of your shoes.

We’re still on Gucci. If the bling is too much, how about these cute little bees with the traditional Gucci green and red. So adorable for springtime!

Christian Louboutin

Whoa! Just like his pencil-thin heels, these spiked slip-on Louboutin sneakers are equally as dangerous. At almost $1300, the price is dangerous too. We totally dig these designer sneakers though. Try wearing these to the yacht club. Buffy’s chin will totally drop!

VALENTINO

VALENTINO Color-block leather low-top trainers $695

Aren’t these Valentino’s darling? Check out the small rockstud details in the back – so sweet! We think these would go with so many different outfits. We’d love to see them paired with one of those soft, ruffly, floral sundresses.

Saint Laurent

Saint Laurent Silver and White Low-Top Sneakers $595.00

We’re ending our designer sneaker review with this pair by Saint Laurent, because they are definitely the “star of the show.” They would put a shine in our step; but for the cost of almost $600 big ones. Hmmm, now about those Chuck Taylors…

Happy Shoe Shopping!
